An improved version of the xperia z (released early this year) was officially announced by the
sony chairman Kazuo Hirai during a press event in berlin. The smartphone
features a 20.7 megapixel rear camera with
a quad core QUALCOMM snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 2.2GHz Krait which is higher than
the Xperia Z that is 1.5GHz Krait. It
runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and
features all the normal sony softwares
such as the TrackID and the WalkMan.Boosted
with a Battery life of 3,000mAh more durable than most Androids Smarphones.
Currently
the phone comes in black and purple but others colours will be produced later Compared to the likes of Samsung's five inch
galaxy S4, the phone which is still dust
and waterproof just like it's junior has
a full HD resolution screen a bit longer & and wider then the S4.
The
Xperia Z1 comes with 2GB of RAM,16GB of internal memeory and an Expandable card slot (microSD),includes
the ability to store collected photos
with unlimited cloud storage . It also comes with Sixty days of free
music streaming apps as well as six free blockbuster movies, including a social live app that lets
you take a video and stream that video
live on facebook for all your friends to
see.
Made from a single piece of metal with a glass front and back, makes the phone crystal comfortable
and tacky to hold.
Precisely, the area
that sony improved on consist of the camera - updated to 20.7MP, the processor
-upgraded to Quad-core Qaulcomm 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor and overall is 24g
heavier and chunkier (144 x 74 x 8.5mm) than the Xperia Z
